Adult Pick-Up Basketball - Winter 2026
It’s time to lace up your sneakers and hit the court! We are excited to announce a new session of adult pick-up basketball games for players of all skill levels. This is a great opportunity to get active, enjoy some friendly competition, and meet fellow basketball enthusiasts in the community.

Track & Field - Spring II 2026
Springfield Township Recreation presents:
2026 Spring Recreational Track Program which is available for youth in Grades K-6.
Instructed by experienced coaches and Dave from Aeon Training
Program dates: When baseball ends (Late May/early June) - e/o July
Weekly Practices. Includes 6-8 weeks of training (weather depending), t-shirt and end of season competition race day award.
This is an introductory-to-moderate level program where the emphasis is on fun, fitness endurance and running form. The training activities will keep participants moving while building their self-confidence and stamina.

Adult Co-ed Outdoor Volleyball - Spring 2026
Looking for a fun way to stay active and meet people this spring? Join us for our new Adult Coed Outdoor Volleyball season! Whether you’re a seasoned player or haven't touched a volleyball since gym class, this league is for you. We are welcoming any and all skill levels for friendly, low-pressure games.
Why Join? Teams are formed on-site each week—no need to bring a full roster, and it's a great excuse to get outside and enjoy the spring weather with fellow community members.

Kids Yoga - Spring 2026
We are excited to be partnered with Small Wonders in announcing a special Yoga session April 30th 6:00pm-7:00pm for students in Kindergarten through 4th grade at The Jacksonville Community Center! This session offers an hour of movement and mindfulness designed specifically for young children. Participants will explore age-appropriate poses and relaxation techniques to help improve flexibility and build confidence in a supportive and fun environment.

Soccer 2026 - Fall 2026
Recreation soccer for Springfield Township, Burlington County, NJ --Practices start mid to late August. PreK and Kindergarten practices will be held on Field 1 (closest to the pavilion) starting after Labor Day. PreK and Kindergarten teams will scrimmage each other but not play games versus other towns. All practices are at Veteran’s Park on Island Road. Games for grades 1-6 will be played September 6th thru mid-November in Springfield, Mansfield, Chesterfield, North Hanover, New Egypt, Florence, and Bordentown. Games are held on Saturdays with an occasional Friday game. Professional Soccer Pictures will take place at Veterans Pavilion September 8th. Information will be in Team Sideline app late August.

Boys ages 11-12. Age 11 prior to May 1st. Regionalized Minor Baseball will be administered by NBIAA, not Springfield Township.
Babe Ruth Baseball
Boys ages 13-14. Regionalized with Hamilton and Northern Burlington.
Girls
Rookie Softball
Girls ages 7-8. Age 7 by the end of the calendar year. Regionalized Rookie Softball will be administered by NBIAA, not Springfield Township.
Minor Softball
Girls ages 9-10. Age 9 by the end of the calendar year. Regionalized Minor Softball will be administered by NBIAA, not Springfield Township.
Major Softball
Girls ages 11-12. Age 11 by the end of the calendar year. Regionalized Minor Baseball will be administered by NBIAA, not Springfield Township.
Regionalized teams are administered under the Northern Burlington Instructional Athletic Association (NBIAA), which means your child will be on a team with players from Chesterfield, North Hanover Mansfield and Springfield. Games and practices will be held in all 4 Townships.

Option#4 Platinum $750 for the year:Same as Gold but with a banner at baseball game
